The impact of
Big Brothers Big Sisters is profound. In the past year BBBS has matched over 2,000 economically disadvantaged children in our area
with a Big Brother or Big Sister. BBBS works closely with parents and
children to match children with the right Big Brother or Big Sister. These
volunteers are professionals in youth development, support. Our goal is to
empower children who face economic, emotional and social challenges through
our Community Based Mentoring Program, which provides recreational,
educational and community service activities and our Scholl based Mentoring
Program, which provides help with homework, reading, friendship and
emotional support for our Little sisters and brothers. |
